Propelling platform improvements for the sector

At the Y Ballarat, we’re always looking for ways to improve. It’s very rewarding when our partners recognise our efforts and expertise and ask for our input to develop and create better products for the sector.

Xplor, our online platform partner for Outside School Hours Care enrolments, invited us to contribute to modifications aimed at enhancing the customer experience.

Recommendations were informed by suggestions from our OSHC teams who use the platform daily and hear feedback from families.

Ideas were workshopped with Xplor to streamline processes, upgrade functionality for staff and improve the clarity of the booking procedure. As part of evolving enhancements, more sessions are planned over the coming months. 

Danni, Educator and 2IC at Newington OSHC appreciated being consulted. She has seen firsthand the results and the impact that her input has made for families when navigating the online process.

“It’s so much better. We see fewer new families missing out on the Holiday Program when enrolling and booking for their children close to the start of the program. The changes made in relation to the confirmation of CCS makes it so much quicker. The process now happens in a matter of seconds, where in the past it could have taken several days.”

Elvie, OSHC Operations Manager added, “We always want to improve the experience for our team members, customers and program attendees. It’s important to us that in supporting our services our partners are also committed to making improvements. We’re looking forward to seeing and testing the latest upgraded version!”
