Volunteers have been the backbone of the Y throughout its history. Volunteering at the Y offers a valuable opportunity to connect and make a difference in your community. By volunteering, you will have the chance to develop your skills whilst making a valuable contribution to your community. It’s a real opportunity for personal and professional growth through assisting with the delivery of programs and services.
If you are a secondary student interested in obtaining work experience in one of the Y’s program areas, we offer a limited number of work experience places. Please send us your details including a letter from your school requesting the placement.
We offer limited tertiary students fieldwork placements, research project opportunities and work experience in our organisation in areas such as Youth Development and Community Programs.
