Life Skills Program

Things No One Told You
Things No One Told You

Things No One Told You is a free life skills program for young people aged 12-25.

Things No One Told You has been developed BY young people FOR young people and covers a range of content based on consultation WITH young people.

When we asked young people what they needed from us, they told us they felt adults assume they know things or forget to share knowledge on everyday aspects of life.

Things No One Told You covers stuff you are ‘expected’ to know, but might not have ever been taught, such as why you need a tax file number, how to write a resume, how Medicare works or the best way to put on a doona cover.

Things No One Told You is FREE to participate in and is delivered a collaboration with youth facilitators, local experts and community organisations.

Things No One Told You is supported by the Victorian Government.

Follow Y Ballarat Youth Instagram and Facebook for information on upcoming workshops and opportunities.

Are you a young person with knowledge and skills you’d like to share? Contact The Y Ballarat on 4311 1500; or email youth@yballarat.org.au to discuss facilitation opportunities!
