Want to see an incredible youth-led film?
How Queer Looks is a film/storytelling documentary for regional LTGBQIA+ young people, sharing stories of their regional LGBTQIA+ elders. How Queer Looks aimed to bridge the generational divide by facilitating an environment between young and older queer people exploring different ways queer has and can look.
Amazing young people and film creators Ash and Ruth led the charge on this incredible project. Ruth said, “This project was entirely called upon by us, Ash and I are seventeen-year-olds who identified a gap in our own and others lives. Rather than an organisation engaging with us, we are engaging with them to facilitate our ideas and teach us”.
How Queer Looks was funded by Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic), in partnership with the Victorian Government, via Healthy Equal Youth (HEY) Grants, round 13.
