the Y
The Y’s OSHC programs do not exist to merely occupy children out of school. Operating at 9 locations, and offering transport for other local schools, we exist to stimulate, inspire and involve young people so they arrive back home with the sort of zeal and enthusiasm every parent wants to see.
We believe in the power of inspired young people and we know that if we can create the sort of programs that make outside school hours care more than just a compromise, young people will be inspired. And from that their power emerges.
We also appreciate that for parents who face the decision to leave their children in others’ care, that a special experience will ensure their kids are stimulated today – and will want to come again tomorrow. Which ultimately makes parents smile, knowing they have chosen well. And that’s something to cherish.
We cater to the needs of all children and offer a range of enjoyable activities including sports, ball games and team games, arts and crafts, cooking, creative and expressive arts such as drama, singing and dancing, board games and puzzles, homework time, gardening and recycling and much more. We also provide healthy and delicious snacks, with breakfast being served in the morning, and afternoon tea after school.
