Centre Statement

Mirboo North Early Learning Centre

Our view is that children’s lives are characterised by belonging, being and becoming. Even before birth, they are connected to family, community, culture and place.

Their earliest development and learning takes place through relationships – particularly within families, who are children’s first and most influential educators. As children participate in everyday life, they develop interests and construct their own identities and understandings of the world.

Our qualified and experienced educators plan together to deliver a wide range of activities and experiences to extend each child’s learning in a play based setting. Families can have peace of mind knowing their children are cared for in a stimulating, caring and fun environment.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Our service is approved for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). CCS enables families attending an Early Education Centre to receive a discount directly off the daily service fee.

In order to receive subsidies, families need to ensure that they provide the necessary information to the Y Ballarat and take the appropriate actions through their myGov account.

Visit our Child Care Subsidy page for details about subsidy calculations, applying for additional CCS and the requirements when using your myGov account.

The Y acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to Elders past, present and future.
