Victorian Government announces Regional Victoria will go into lockdown alongside Melbourne.

The premier of Victoria has declared that all metropolitan Melbourne restrictions, excluding the curfew, will be implemented across regional Victoria from 1pm Saturday 21 August 2021.

For the Y Ballarat, we want to reassure our communities and participants of our services and programs that we diligently follow and implement COVIDSafe practices to continue to provide safe environments for you to attend when permitted by government restrictions. This current set of restrictions means the following for our services:

Our Corporate Office will continue to be available from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Our Community Recreation services will be closed during the lockdown period with engagement activities occurring via Portland Y’s social media channel – follow the facebook page here
Youth Hubs and programs will be closed during the lockdown period
Early Learning and OSHC will be open for participants of essential workers and for other specific circumstances

Our specific services will be communicating directly with families relating to their enrolment or booking over the coming days.

We want to reiterate our commitment to our communities and encourage everyone to stay safe during this period.
