For the majority of his career, Craig has been focused on providing opportunities for people to connect with their passions and helping them to learn key skills to take them forward into the future. Having previously spent time with two National Sporting organisations, Craig believes sport can be a powerful agent for helping to create pathways for young people to participate in sports they have a passion for whether that be recreationally, competitively or as a volunteer. Craig has always believed in the power of sport and recreation to provide positive experiences. Craig is passionate about ensuring that young people have access to education, programs and activities that will support them in their development as both a person and community member. He is driven to leading the Y Ballarat through its ongoing mission to provide access to quality Children’s Services programs and engaging opportunities for young people through alternative education and self-development programs.

As the Board of Directors, we acknowledge our responsibility to ensure the governance practices, leadership and values towards Safeguarding are delivered and on display at all times. We are fully committed to the Safeguarding of Children and Young People, with our focus being on providing safe, enjoyable and inclusive environments at all of our services and programs. We will empower our staff and volunteers to have collective leadership on Safeguarding, demonstrating a duty of care, understanding and responsibility towards all of our children and young people.
