Anne believes that every child and young person deserves the right to grow, learn and develop in a happy, healthy, and safe environment. She understands the importance of organisations such as the Y to the community and the integral part they play in creating connections and fostering inclusiveness. In her role of Treasurer, she is committed to ensuring the continued growth and success of the Y Ballarat to enable the continuation and expansion of services provided to the community. Anne has over 20 years of financial accounting experience, holding a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide and a graduate diploma in Chartered Accounting (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand).

 As the Board of Directors, we acknowledge our responsibility to ensure the governance practices, leadership and values towards Safeguarding are delivered and on display at all times. We are fully committed to the Safeguarding of Children and Young People, with our focus being on providing safe, enjoyable and inclusive environments at all of our services and programs. We will empower our staff and volunteers to have collective leadership on Safeguarding, demonstrating a duty of care, understanding and responsibility towards all of our children and young people.
