Wowzers, another year nearly over! In marking Bags of Joy’s tenth year in 2024 we are super proud to have been able to deliver 232 Bags of Joy to vulnerable young people young people this Christmas!

In 2014 an amazing young person named Jessy approached Y Ballarat with an idea to provide presents to local young people who might otherwise go without at Christmas time. Since then, Jessy and Y Ballarat has run Bags of Joy annually, growing and strengthening the program each year. Jessy has supported the creation of Bags of Joy for young people in the Maryborough area.

Bags of Joy donations are always open, donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Just $30 will brighten a young person’s Christmas in 2025.
