Youth Parliament gives young people a chance to be heard at the highest level of the Victorian Government. Young people aged 16-25 share their views, create and refute Bills on a range of issues relevant to young people. Bills passed at Youth Parliament, go to the State Government of the day for consideration.
Introducing our 2023 Youth Parliament Team! Jacob Osenaris, Isabella Koros, Vincent Nube, Keira Porter and Ash Nguyen.
This Youth Parliament Team did an excellent job researching, designing and debating their Bill in Youth Parliament. The Bill – Residential Landlord and Tenancy regulation Reform Bill 2023 – was one of 18 Bills that passed during the week-long Parliament sitting in June. “Its’ a massive eye-opener because we get to see how decisions get made and I think that’s really important for young people to understand. It shows how we can get our voice heard and what the process is”
Congratulations on a very successful 2023 Youth Parliament!
